The history of this MP branch goes back to 1992 when Technické služby of Ostrov was privatized and TIMA s.r.o. was established. The company took charge of the municipal property management and maintenance. The company was later renamed to TIMA - CS s r.o. The aforementioned company provided its services to 2009 when Marius Pedersen a.s. merged with the company. Currently MP Ostrov provides the following services: transport and disposal of municipal, separated and hazardous waste, recycling centre management, winter and summer road maintenance, maintenance of green spaces, repair and construction of public lighting networks, roads, pavements, car parks and public areas, traffic signs and signals and street furniture. The services are provided in the region of Ostrov and other 11 nearby municipalities, Radošov military area and Doupovské hory.
