Do you know that waste separation on recycling lines can not be done without manual work?

Manual work is irreplaceable!

Despite a high proportion of high-technology and modern equipment we can not do without manual work at sorting lines.

Surely, it is not very pleasant for our workers to find rotten food, used sanitary products and other unacceptable municipal waste  when handling paper or plastic.

We appreciate any improvement in the current situation and we would like to thank all who separate waste responsibly!

There must be appropriate containers at the start

The right choice of collecting bins affects the optimal system of waste separation.

Marius Pedersen supplies its customers with collecting bins of an appropriate type and in a sufficient number to ensure the most convenient waste handling possible. Even this contributes to the fact that 2/3 of citizens (based on statistical data) separate waste regularly.

We try hard to supply new separation bins to towns and municipalities continuously and place them within an accessible distance.

Waste as a marketable commodity

Secondary raw materials separated from waste are commonly marketed on Czech and international commodity markets. Trade in waste as a marketable commodity is subject to rules of supply and demand.  The price often fluctuates within one month.

Marius Pedersen, when negotiating with purchasers, benefits from the guaranteed steady supply of top-quality raw materials in large volumes. We share this stability and security with our suppliers of separated waste.

Fair pricing in relation to waste originators

Prices for waste originators take into account:

  • operation of waste separation system,
  • supply and distribution of collecting bins,
  • maintenance of bins and their additional supply,
  • waste collection, transport, separation and treatment,
  • storage and transport of waste to purchasers.

Costs may increase depending on how complex it is to remove waste that is not classified as separated.

The total price of waste disposal is reduced by revenues from the sale of secondary raw materials.

We offer to  separate the costs from the revenues for secondary raw materials, which gives our clients precise information about the profitability of the waste separation system.
