Medical waste collection and transport
Marius Pedersen Group provides medical facilities with a whole complex of medical waste disposal services. In the field, we emphasize compliance with the legislation in force, work safety and hygiene.
We can satisfy the needs and requirements of all types of medical facilities from small private surgeries to big hospitals.
While handling medical waste we observe the following principles:
- safety of patients and medical personnel when waste is produced and handled,
- supply of a wide variety of containers for waste storage while respecting the needs of the facility,
- cost-effectiveness of waste management for medical facilities,
- simplicity of the waste management system,
- compliance with the legislation in force.
The fundamentals of operating reliability reside in its simplicity. Containers are placed directly where waste is produced (e.g. surgery, operating theatre, laboratory) in order to minimize handling of „unpacked“ waste.
If it is useful and profitable, we can provide waste originators with a storage device equipped with a cooling system.
Subsequently, waste is transported from medical facilities to an incineration plant on a regular basis or on demand according to the current need of the customer.
