Wood recycling

Marius Pedersen recycles specific wood waste or utilizes it as a source for fuel production.

What is „dead“ wood?

We accept „dead wood“,as it called, for recycling from the furniture industry. It includes:

  • wooden window or door frames including metal mounting, glazing and blinds,
  • furniture, pallets, crates,
  • bark, wood shreds,
  • wood from demolition sites,
  • used construction timber.

Wood waste must not be contaminated by:

  • hazardous substances, such as oil and paint,
  • construction waste – debris, concrete etc.

What is „new“ wood?

  • These are wood splinters, cut branches or other parts of a tree.
  • This waste is not suitable for further processing in the furniture industry.
  • It is used as biofuel in the energy industry or in combination with other waste to produce compost.

Sorting process of wood waste

  1. Wood waste is sorted manually. Other recyclable parts, such as glass, ferrous and non-ferrous metals, plastic are removed.
  2. Glass, metals and plastic are further recycled or utilized.
  3. “Dead“ waste wood is crushed in crushers or mills into pieces of required size using magnets, sieves and other equipment.
  4. The acquired material is delivered to a manufacturer to be used in the production of chipboard, or to be processed further.

We own a system of qualitative inspection, due to which we gurantee to supply our customers with raw material of desired quality.

Furthermore, we apply a wide variety of technological processes to meet the specific requirements of the customers for the processed wood properties, such as moistness, size, chemical parameters or content of other substances.
